What Is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people take part in everyday activities that give life structure and meaning, such as:
-
Self‑care and personal routines
-
Learning, working, and managing tasks
-
Play, social skills, hobbies, and community life
When challenges in movement, sensory processing, emotional regulation, cognition, or routines make daily life harder, OT provides tools and strategies to support independence and comfort.
